Great continuation with focus on saving selkies and surviving the new political regime. Elloren has grown so much, become brave and outspoken and I love her, Diana, and Yvan.

Love the view sized chapters of 5-10 pages. Love the slow burn romance and how Gideon and Rune keep circling each other on their goal.

I feel like the story is dragging... so much excess description of what every person is doing in detail.

Love the ease in writing, magic system is interesting, story is immersive! I'm hooked!

More interesting than vol 1 with more politics.

Ended up skim reading the last 40 pages because it was taking me too long to be in the mood to keep going. I'm just unfortunately not the intended age group.

Interesting story, great writing. Overall reads closer to a Middle Grade than YA at times. Saw some typos, and errors that could have been caught by another round of edits/reread. Writing quality felt strong at the start and end. Battle action writing scenes with the phoenix felt a little repetitive in sentence starters such as the over use of "With" or "Without."

Amazing and captivating prologue -- has me so intrigued! Writing style is amazing. Feels like a true YA book at the moment in story. Execution of chosen-one troupe is very straight to the point style right now with the quest-giver character.

What a ride...! Realistic romance -- the finding out of how to live with/without, in/around each other. Some parts started to become a little confusing for me to understand what is going on... Wondering if it has something to do with the dialogue ratio to descriptors, and the absence of dialogue tags. Other than that... Jav has my heart <3 And Rina needs consequences...

Masterpiece already. So compelling and intriguing. Makes me feel intelligent. Written so sophisticated. The character voices are so sharp and clear. I love Javier and Ethan so much. Has me grinning like a lunatic at their first meet up chapter.

I just love it when the original main characters show up as the heroes they are and save the day and be all so cool... <3 And this quote of "You came." ... "You called." Omg has my heart. Lila grew so much on me now.

Absolutely enthralling story telling between new and old characters. I love the alternating timeline way of scenes that are shown when needed to better understand the situation. Masterful writing I am studying to emulate! I'm so so happy to have more ADSOM original character content.
