The premise and concept of the story is so refreshing. I NEEDWD to read something like this. Hopefully it will get me out of my reading/writing slump.

Strongest hook i've seen in a WHILE. I'll try power through the whole book in yhe next couple of hours (I am at a boring, compulsory conference lol)

so far, it's a little dull

Adrestus could have easily revived her, turned her into an Epsilon and had an Inculcator alter her memories if they got in the way. Just now, John Ratcliffe even indirectly suggested that Mira was an Epsilon.

Naomi and Wesley both made a point to take their cups from Sergio.
“Thanks,” I mumbled, taking Andersen’s spare drink. He screwed his face up, as if he wasn’t completely comfortable doing me any favors but knew better than to fuss with Naomi and Wesley there.

... did they just drug her???

“I care,” I said.
“Great,” Wesley said slowly. “I care, too.”
“Not you.”

Listen closely, kids. If you're quiet enough you can hear the sound of Wesley Isaac's heart shattering.

WHY IS EVERYONE DYING

1. You can tell the author is more comfortable with the writing style and I love it
2. Poor Wesley
3. I actually like Andersen now
4. Quinn is a nice addition. I'm 100% sure he's Adrestus tho

I'm waiting for Naomi to snap and begin her villain arc (I'm only half serious). Spoilers: I initially thought she'd be the leak because Adrestus offered to turn off her powers with the Lapis. When Anthony was revealed, it made SO much sense. He was perfectly placed to be the rat.

Hear me out: Sergio.
Besides that, the prospect of Sam and Anderson living together is peak comedy.

1. We've started slow but steady.
2. A part of me goes "Vikings!!!! Yeah!!!" and the other part goes "Vikings?? *side eye*. It's certainly unique.

There's some big secret, some connection that we don't know yet. Amanda knows. I'm currently bouncing my leg like a caffeinated maniac because I want to keep reading but also have to sleep.

"Right. How could anyone possibly mistake one pasty boy with brown hair for a different pasty boy with brown hair?"

Really enjoying this one. The pace is good, the setting of New Delos is intriguing (especially the hydraulics), and * rubs hands together and grins evilly* the plot is thickening.

"If you do get kidnapped, remind them your brother can't have peanuts."

Really excited for this one! :D

I like Camilla. And Karen.
Daisy is an interesting character, bit she isn't... gripping me. She's vaguely evocative. Maybe that's exactly what she's supposed to be. Billy is meh.

For the record this is self destructive. For the record I'm aware of that.

Why did I start this book? My board exams are a day away. Actually I know why I started it. I'm so stressed I feel like I'll implode, and stories are my coping mechanism. Well, at least it's not drugs.
