How is this read going, you ask?

Well, my entire book club spent an hour and a half bitching about it today. One threw the book across the room.

This is going to be such a fun review.

This book in a nutshell:

"There I was, surrounded by the reek of decay. The city lights cast everything in a bloody hue, reflecting off the skin her corpse. She stared up at me with big eyes and bigger titties and OH. OH GOD IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN. MY PENIS! MY PENIS AHHHHHH!"

Okay, we're getting more depth in Moore now, I think I'm starting to see what the author intended to portray here so I'm invested.

So far Moore's character feels a bit like a caricature, just a man imagining what an 'angry feminist' acts like. But there's just enough of a hint of further depth that I'm not DNFing over it yet. We'll see where this goes.

The pacing of this plot is like a slug squirming through salt. MY GOD.

Fun fact: I bought this book off the author at a convention. She wrote 'Nyama to you!' when she signed it for me. My dumbass didn't figure out until I looked at the glossary that it's a made-up word in the book...I thought I was just shit at Google translate 😭
