I love when sapphic people write sapphic books. The description of a woman written for the female gaze is just enchanting. Second page, the way the author describes Drew, descriptive but in a different way. She describes her biceps and tattoos, not her chest or lips or whatever other gross descriptive for the male gaze. And then same thing when she introduces Rosemary a couple pages later. Chefs kiss.

This far in and I have yet to see a climax. Which, as a lesbian, I am not used to 🙄😂

Really enjoying this so far. I guess you could say it’s a bit of a slow burn which I normally hate but the story is really good so I don’t care lol

JUST TAKE THE HEART ALREADY. My god slowest burn not related to romance I’ve ever read. I’m getting board lol

I’m enjoying the current storyline. I like the nymphs having a laugh at Perseus’ expense.

I honestly can’t tell if I like this book or not. I’ve gone back and forth so many times. The POVs are constantly bouncing around which I never like in books. But every time I think “ok I don’t like this” something happens and I change my mind. I am listening to the audiobook narrated by the author, Natalie Haynes and I adore her reading style.

👍🏼 as I expected, so good so far. Excited to finish and can’t wait fornthe next one! I love this series and the original Rockton series.

So far so good. Exactly what I expect from this series & constantly making me laugh out loud on walks.

Really enjoying this book so far! I’ve busted out, laughing so many times I can’t even keep count. Janet Evanovich’s sense of humour is iconic and delightful. I’ve only read her Stephanie Plum books so far and this caught my eye randomly on a library shelf a couple days ago and I’m so glad it did. It’s so funny and I’m not even that far in yet. Really excited to keep reading.

So far really well written. I love all the characters already & I am excited to see the character development throughout the book. I also really love that the author jumped right in, no slow burn here!

Bit of a slow start. Having a bit of a struggle getting into it but it feels like the story is going to get good soon.
