have been reading paragraph by paragraph whenever i can, wish i had more time so i can just sit and read 300 pages in one go

stopped myself right before the scene where remus gets on the train after summer of 1974 and sirius has a gay awakening cuz i need to savour that whole chapter and read it when i'm not falling asleep

it's hard to tell how much i've actually read when reading on ao3, but 7% seems about right. finished 1st year, didn't realize how much i missed baby marauders

fuck it, i'm reading this fic again. if you're wondering why the hell would i put myself through all this pain again - i just have to, the marauders (the marauders specifically from atyd tho) are my comfort characters.

many people have said that the first half of the book is boring, but i disagree. so far, i think the language flows well, it's not spectacularly written, but it's written well enough to keep me interested. but i don't know how much of this interest is just my undying love for jessie mei li and ben barnes. maybe i just like the book because i picture them in my head when reading lol
