What a mess of a book

No idea how Yalom intertwined everything so artfully

What a stupid main character

What's the book you keep coming back to in your head after many years? I read Hugo's Les Misérables 2 years ago and still keep marveling at it to this day (which, to be fair, is not that big of a timeframe, but I usually let books go pretty much instantly).

I feel like I'll never finish it

Absolutely no idea where it's heading, but it's very The Secret History alike, which might or might not be a good thing

So far it feels like Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

The narrator is so pretentious

The amount of drama created solely by the choice of words exceeds any reasonable levels

I can't overstate how much I despise 2nd POV.

"Beric Dondarrion was handsome enough, but he was awfully old, almost twenty-two".
I love these internal monologues

Never expected 2 things: 1) I would ever start reading it; 2) I would enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying it even after watching the entire TV show

"I feel drawn to him, like he's a refrigerator and I'm made entirely out of alphabet magnets".
That's the dumbest comparison I've ever heard.

It's only 500 pages, yet so slow and difficult to read?..

The info dump is so huge that I find it really difficult to follow, it's as if I'm reading some manual

Can't remember the last time I've smiled that much when reading a book.

Decided to read more of something atypical for me this year as well as finally read more of the books from my TBR list. And let me tell you, what a good decision! Started off really nice, I expected it to be like Adams' books, but it's way funnier
