thanks, i hate it (this is actually pretty good)

i'm behind on my reading goal so i'm finally reading this one bc i always breeze through Miss Hazelwood's books and usually leave feeling pretty good (except for Not in Love, that one was a miss)

so far this is genuinely bad but i'm unfortunately locked in on whatever the hell is going on so i guess i gotta keep going

decided to read this because i've been rewatching criminal minds and now i'm wondering how the hell this has so many good reviews when i'm not sure that the author has ever interacted with a real person before in their life? people don't talk or act like this 😭

so far this is still not hitting the same level as the 1st book in the series, but i'm liking it a lot more than the 2nd

really liking this one so far, it's made me physically cringe multiple times lol

so far this is like the virgin suicides if it was written by robert pattinson at his most quirked up. loving it.

retrying this one and so far i am struggling to not scream "GIRL GET UPPPP" every single time The Man I Want to Be With is mentioned

nothing feels better than having an ARC and getting to enjoy a book before publication!!! didn't know how i'd feel about Kuang's fantasy writing but i'm liking this a lot so far. i'm sure i'd like it even more if i was familiar with any of the mentioned texts like Dante's Inferno lol

i'm not really connecting with this one yet. i think the way she's experimenting with prose is really cool, but i'm not sure it's for me.

got the email that i got approved for the ARC and now i will not be leaving my bed until i'm done reading ❤️ i've been fiending for this since it got announced!!
