so far, idk how I feel. i know there’s very dated language in this book and some of the ideology is a bit odd… but it was the 60’s so like i don’t expect anything less lol. we’ll see as I progress, so far I just feel like i’m reading it to get through it. i’m not insanely immersed.

this book is SO GOOD SO FAR!! i cannot put it down. i’m on Chapter 25, and things are heating up….

i am slowly starting to see the romantic pop through. i am super excited to see where this first book takes me! the story building is amazing. i’m intrigued for sure.

i am very excited to read this book. and NO not because of the spicey spice i keep hearing about, but because i heard that sarah is a phenomenal writer, and i cannot wait to immerse myself into the world she conjured up with her fingertips.

Wow. I really don't like june. There's moments where i can't stand her, and then there's moments where she sounds politically correct and doesn't come across an even a little bit prejudice??? but the story itself is riveting! I feel for Athena. Poor Athena.

I need to get more into it to see if June will grow on me. So far, Im having trouble.

i burned through this book on a flight home from vancouver and i’m practically almost done. yes the chapters are short and the format is emailing.. but i LOVE IT! it feels real, like im snooping through someone’s emails LMAO but it’s so interesting so far and i love where it’s going. jade and smith had a fight tho :( boooo

finally finished part one of this book and wow. it’s like the extra content i needed after watching the movies. all the details, the pieces fitting together, the way frank uses his extensive vocabulary and wonderful descriptors. i’m so excited to read more! onto “Maud’dib” now !!
