For the last few chapters, this book changed from a realistic story of a woman ahead of her time to a fantasy story about a dog that understands books and tv… wtf? It was entertaining at first but now it seems I’m reading a chapter book! Oh and the girl… if she had been only a few years older, it would have been believable, but 5 and think like that? That kind of reasoning? Just, no. I’ll try to finish it.

I’m not liking the christian vibes that allow the thinking of “being spared of not killing jews” and that means that god “heard” the man’s prayer.
What about the jews he was spared of killing? They were killed anyway! Just not by him!!
What? They didn’t pray hard enough?
It might be based on a true story but I think either the author took too many liberties or he was just taken for a ride

Profundamente humano. A pesar que la historia sucede en 1959, la experiencia humana, los sentimientos, los pensamientos, son los mismos que en el presente o cualquier otra época.
Me gustó pero me deprimió.
