I'm gonna be honest. For whatever reason, there are two names that seem to put me to sleep any time I try to read them.

Dallas Willard is one. I've never finished a single work of his. That's not to say his stuff is bad, I just literally can't for some reason. Maybe I should try again.

Blackaby is the other name, and it doesn't seem to matter which first name gets billing. Experiencing God is the only exception.

Making my way through this one a little more slowly than I anticipated, but it's still a decent story apart from the slow build to the main action of the middle book of this trilogy.

Something a little out of the norm for me, which is something ofna modern classic from Faulkner. We'll see how it goes.

Inspired by a recent visit to the WWI Memorial and Museum in Kansas City, I decided to crack open this little biographical work.

A little slower going than I expected, but I can already see why Sanderson has such a reputation in the genre.
