You know what pisses me off about 90% of romance novels?
So right now, i'm reading a book "the memory police" where there's a woman and i'm not even sure if the love for r can be described as romantic but i believe in their love more than the sun and they hardly even touch each other. it breaks your heart when they talk.
and like most romance books just have too hot people bang and call it a day. idk it's weak.

Japanese novels can take the most out-there concepts and explore them in a way that makes you think, "oh, of course that's how that would work"
