sometimes I found myself asking if children books really mean books for grown ups that once upon a time were children.

Until chapter 14 the vibe is so fairytale and I love that. But there’s the question Marnie ask to Anna that put me off. What does it feel to live with the Peggs? And relate with myself… what does it feel live with your dads? I’m not sure.

Things like parties and best friends and going to tea with people were fine for everyone else, because everyone else was ‘inside’ - inside some sort of invisible magic circle. But Anna herself was outside. And so these things had nothing to do with her. It was as simple as that.

I’m close to the ending and it’s emotional but there are some parts that doesn’t make sense to me. It could be my bad for not catching the battle scenes, but I feel they’re rushed sometimes, that doesn’t have sense. Maybe it’s my brain. :/

ugh. i can’t keep reading the extras. i feel bad for gao tu.

you know, even if ah yong did questionable things to make shaoyou his exclusive omega, at least he showed him that omegas aren’t just sexual objects to be tossed aside. and despite everything, he truly, deeply loves him. but wenlang ugh. i can tolerate him at best, but even if the author gave us his background, he still isn’t likable. there's just something off about him that i can’t overlook. i just finished chapter 75, and my thoughts are a mess—like they’re tangled in a maze. i really pity gao tu; his father is awful and even tried to sell something he discovered about his own son. then there’s all the lovey-dovey moments between ah yong and shaoyou. i want to hate ah yong so badly… but how can i, when shaoyou keeps forgiving him? …and sheng shaoyou loved him just as much. no less than he did.

i don’t know how to feel. after all the lies, manipulation, and danger even murder attempts the story suddenly turns all soft and lovey-dovey. i wanna be angry at ah yong, but i can’t. he's doing everything to protect shaoyou, and somehow… i'm confused. torn. how can everything turn so soft after all that?

right now i'm at chapter 50, and i can’t stand all the lovey-dovey moments after an attempted murder. also, i can’t just forget all the things ah yong did so easily. but what infuriates me the most is that it’s pleasant to read all those lovey-dovey moments. Uuuuuuuugh!

argh. i can’t keep reading because i'm about to lose it. ah yong roped shaoyu. then he disappears, telling him it’s for the best, so he can find another omega and give his father the medicine. this is bizarre, to say the least. damn it, ah yong. shaoyu has already fallen in love with you. what more do you need from him? do you want him to beg you to stay? what the hell are u waiting to stop being a scumbag?

Let’s be honest. I want to tear Hua Yong apart. He’s dragging Shaoyu’s company to the edge of ruin, watching it collapse like it means nothing to him. And the worst part? He could stop it. He has the power. he’s the head of X Holdings.
Maybe I understand, maybe this is all a twisted game to make Shaoyu reach for him, to make him depend on him. But this… this cruelty? It’s too much. It’s unforgivable.

Chapter 23 shattered me.
His Yong isolates himself during his rut—no warning, no explanation. Just disappears. And poor Shaoyu… he spirals. Desperate, he hires a team of detectives to find him. One of them tracks him down and overhears two maids whispering: Hua Yong has been passed around by several Alphas. He even tried to end his life. And worst of all—none of it is true.
But Shaoyu doesn’t know that.

‘This is probably as far a I can go, but Joji will get even faster. He can reach a world that I could never see. He has all the makings of a great runner, and besides, it looks like he just can’t get enough of running.’

To be honest, I can’t stop sobbing. What an amazing writer you are, Shion. To be loved and admired like this is so magical that my heart melts.

What does it mean to be a strong runner?

As a person who watched the anime, It’s a bit diffferent but I really get the point. I believe this is a little more personal and rounds only around Kakeru.

It’s a little different from the anime but I do really like kakeru’s thoughts.
