Ohohoho it is time for another Awad masterpiece! I hope you understand that whenever in any context I hear the word ‘Bunny’ my mind immediately jumps to this series and I seek to spread its sphere of influence. Cause you, like, *deserve it, Bunny!

So many witty lines! I love this book sm okay but also what was that part about Virginia Woolf’s alt ending for TTLH?? Like what??? I feel like I’m scrolling when I read this book like the most unhinged things will pop up but it’s so funny! Really well done so far.

So amazing! This is one of those books where you want to keep reading even if you’ve read 50+ pages in one sitting. Writing style is incredible, smooth to read while being descriptive and humorous.

Love the social commentary here. London life is getting a bit dull for my tastes, though, compared to the action before. Hopefully the 19th century will spice things up!

The Lady of Purity, Lady of Chastity, and Lady of Modesty walk into a bar. Apparently they’re not welcome—trumpets sound so odiously to their presence. Orlando needs them not.

Are all of these Archduchesses and Princesses real people, or is Woolf just making them up and commissioning portraits of them: because I swear if it’s the latter this book is getting five stars because that’s hilarious! Love her writing so far, especially the breaking of the fourth wall and everything about the narrative voice in general. Beautiful language; flows nicely.

Already so, so incredible with the author’s voice and who’s really doing the narrating. I am getting chills both in dread and in awe.

This novel went from good to mindblowingly amazing at the 70% mark. This ending is insane; I love it!!! Can’t wait to see what happens…

I love the writing and events in this novel, but I’m starting to not be able to stand Caroline’s personality and how she calls herself an idiot every few pages. She does not ask enough questions, either…

Loving the descriptions so far, especially of the narrator’s prima-donna employer. This novel is so beautiful and funny at the same time!

The toboggan scene was so cute

Theology rivalries going *crazy with this one. I hate to seem unilateral and/or obsessive, but I'm sure Tansley would steal everyone's ki. Very interested to see what will happen once the curse is off Shiro.
