These books are fascinating reads. So many mistakes made by Britain that allowed for Hitler’s rise, and many parallels in ways of thinking that can be seen in modern politics.

The first half reads like a good children’s book. I’m not a fan of the second half. The book decided to focus on Lancelot instead of Arthur. The main conflict is a cheating scandal and the consequences that follow. I would much rather be reading about the actual battles and events taking place.

This is such a good book. It hooked me in the first couple chapters and has held me to where it’s hard to put down.

Very enjoyable book, if you can get through the long chapters of history and exposition. Is it worth sifting through that to enjoy the story? Yes!
