i am literally on page 1 but i already feel the need to comment on the fact that these characters are so asian that an 11 year old is already “writing algorithms” and “crunching data” for the family business

so far all the girls give me “i’m so quirky i hate men and i bully my male friends relentlessly even though they’re nice to me because i think it’s funny” vibes ??? is that a thing that i can say.
idk i think that hating men is valid but not in this specific way??
something about the writing is off-putting to me but i can’t really explain what it is
