ok unfortunately nothing will ever touch Highest Bidder, that book was one of a kind beacuse its genuinely the only time i’ve read an age gap bigger than 20 yrs & enjoyed it, this book isn’t BAD per say but rather very push & pull, like lowkey they could literally TALK to ronan & daisy abt their relationship & communicate but like any fucking way i refuse to dnf a book #neverhaveneverwill, so brb when i finish it
