briseis is such a compelling narrator, and i do like that we occasionally saw pyrrhus’ pov as well (but that it didn’t overtake the story). it’s interesting to see how he feels others perceive him vs how they truly do. again, the complicated relationships between the women are so interesting. despite the fueds ans differences, they’re still all brought together by being women in such an awful

I forgot to log this, but it’s taken me a while to get through just because i only ever read a little at a time. such an amazing book, and i’m so glad to see there’s another one after it!!! honestly, i read silence of the girls so long ago that it might’ve been better if i reread that first to remember more details, but it was amazing all the same. i love seeing the complicated relationships between the girls

oh my god. i CANT BELIEVE THIS ENDING. holy shit. this series is perfect. now i’m wondering if there was a crossover in silver flames with bryce there that i missed???

i see the underlying intent behind telling feyre, but it still doesn’t excuse the way she went about it….

nesta is growing on me because honestly… i understand her on a soul deep level.
the bog scene, her reliving her trauma, i understand her

very cute book, i’m a little bored but also it is a cute glimpse into their day to day now

- i wasn’t expecting mors secret, her story, andromache - broke my heart for her
- amren and varian TOOO GOOD
- drakon showing up, beron tamlin and greysons armies - thank GOD
- THEIR FATHER, HIS ARMY AND HIS SHIP NAMES, VASSA. this is too gut wrenching
- the bone carver, the weaver crying out just as it happened MY HEART CANT TAKE THIS. AND HE KNEW HIS OWN DEATH. i hope bryaxis makes it
- nesta saved cassian.

THE SURIEL. I AM SOBBING STOP RN.

also, i forgot to mention this, but the story and sentiment behind the library, the priestesses who reside there… genuinely made me cry. rhys and mor spending so much time down there because of their personal trauma. and spending the day down there after the attack to listen to them to hold them whatever they needed… in tears. probably my favorite subplot/ the most touching aspect of this series so far.

i’ve read so much of this book today i literally can’t put it down
it gets tedious at times, but i don’t mind it
