Okay, just saying this book is soooo good, like even the first chapter is a banger istg, that one quote at the end of ch 1 was "why do you pause? Because, Roma montagov, even if you hate me I still love you" AGSVSBSBGAVS OH MY GOD. Sooo good. I'm looking forward to devouring this great book

Like the characters but I just know that whenever they fall in love, the fact that Jude's dad asked him to seduce her is going to blow up in their faces

Ok, so I stopped reading at this point, but I've got to comment on the epic fight that Nasrid and Zafira had. Like, you coulc cut the Sexual tension with a knife. Also, I honestly love the zumra and some of the quotes in the last few chapters were really potent. I mean, "in this moment, we are two souls, marooned" and "to define is to limit" INCREDIBLE. Also the lake scene oof (but a good kind of oof)
I love it.

I'm so ready for the enemies to Lovers that's about to happen between these two. Honestly engaging plot and fun characters. Can't wait to see what happens

I can´t get through this book, like I´ve started it twice and I never get farther than a few pages I hope I can stick it out, not boring or anything just I always start other books that start better or I´m more hyped about so... We´ll see if I finally finish this time around

Honestly tho, I really hope that Elian takes Lira on the voyage (obviously will happen that´s kinda the point) and I hope she tells him that she is a siren once they trust each other more pleasee I need this to happen

Got a different edition, so pages don´t match, but honestly the whole of the Odyssey is summarised by this sentence:
"Thus we left the island and sailed with heavy hearts, for the joy we felt at our escape from death was tempered by grief for the dear friends we had lost"
Like??? every time they flee this happens and it is honestly so funny to me
