Olive kissed the random bathroom guy Dr Carlsen but hasn’t figured out that they are the same people. Anh thinks Olive has been avoiding her due to the ex situation.

Agammemon has upset the Gods as he took the priest of the god Apollo’s daughter and refused to govern her back. Apollo curses the Greeks with a plague in which Agammemon refuses to be at fault and give the girl back when Achilles speaks up. Agammemon then takes Breisis from Achilles which cause him to step back from the war.

Breisis wishes to be with child from Achilles and the war has been going on for 4 years. Soldiers are fed up and the gods are unhappy.

They have started the war as Helen has stated she doesn’t wish to come back.

Agamemmon sacrificed his daughter at Achilles wedding to make the gods happy as they had disrupted the weather to prevent them going to war. They arrived at Troy and Achilles starts to kill people and finds its easy.

Achilles mother kidnapped him in the middle of the night as she does not want him to lead the war. Patroclus awakes to fond him missing and goes to search for him through another king. However Achilles mother forces him to marry Lycomedes daughter and get her pregnant. Patroclus is distraught when he finds out but then ends up sleeping with the daughter as well.

2 years have passed and Achilles has been summoned back home to lead a war. Patroclus and Achilles have had romantic encounters and have kept this hidden. However his mother Thetis is adamant that Patroclus will die soon as she doesn’t like him.

Achilles mother had caught them
having a romantic moment and made it clear Petrocalus was to leave him alone. Achilles is sent to Chiron to start his training where Petrocalus follows even though he wasn’t told to.

I’m enjoying this book so far as I’ve gotten to the part where Patroclus meets Achilles mother. She shows her resentment and ways he will die soon. This is because Achilles chose Patroclus to befriend.
