okay i think i love this. if there isn’t yet a movie adaptation in the works there needs to be. genuinely one of the first books i’ve ever read that i feel like would be perfectly adapted into a screenplay. i haven’t read the book for “this is where i leave you” but this reminds me a lot of that movie (a favorite of mine).
