I’ve started this a few times and enjoy it but got distracted by other books. After visiting some of the sites mentioned and studying a related book (the Doctrine & Covenants) this year, I decided to pick it back up again. I’m on chapter 19 and am amazed at the faith and sacrifice of the early saints.

It's about tragedy and overcoming it. Will does not overcome his, but Louisa does. To me the title refers to Louisa. Will does change her life and encourages her to be brave, ambitious and unapologetic and provides her the resources to do so.
