finally got to the point

just found out why mary catherine’s sister is not allowed out… oh ok

… so i listened to this on my four hour walk in DC and i was distracted the whole time
good thing im just reading this to watch the movie

hey, so, i’m confused

i think i hate the narrative voice and how it’s written… but i think it’s going to be entertaining
but i just saw a clip of the upcoming movie and it looks BAAAAAD even though it’s leighton meester and jared padelecki
i think it’s a hallmark movie

i forgot they had another sister and i think jane austen did, too

two hours and only 30 pages
i think marianne is so annoying and elinor is lowk a nothing burger

slow going, but i’m liking it
just… where is the romance?

this is slow going, but i am incredibly interested in what is going on
elinor: sense
marianne: sensibility?
i want to watch the movie!!

continues to be a banger book
but also is impossible to read right before i go to bed bc imy heartbeat is so heightened bc there is so much going on

MAGS AND WIRESS
IM GOING TO CRY

the fact that panav is reading and coming to the meeting when a character is literally named panache is killing me

Q: how do we feel that haymitch gets to keep the striker which may help him LOTS IN the games?
Q: did you look up the casting for the movie before reading/who did you picture as the characters?
icebreaker: are you a person who reads multiple books at once or just one?

this is me realizing she has this much anger and frustration over adjuncting for ONE SINGLE YEAR
like… i get it sucks, but 365 days is not THAT bad

why read the book i’m supposed to lead a discussion on when i could finish the other book i started last night?

on my third time reading it, you might be surprised that all the scenes that used to gobsmack me are once again gobsmacking me

i don’t remember all this coming up this early

Bored.

NOW WE’RE COOKING WITH GAS

so interesting
but i wish it was more about war already bc i loved his ted talk

UGHHH SO GOOD
but i hate that it's taking me this long to read
but i dont read it right before bed because im too tired to comprehend it, so i can only save it for when i have free time to read (which is never 😛)

i zont think me likes this...
but im almost halfway thru so...

ugh this book remains fantastic

my new brain-off book
i think he seems normal so far, which is not common for giana darling men

not sure i liked how quickly rowan and celaena became friends-adjacent

WHY DONT I LOVE THIS
it’s just not what i wanted to read
i don’t really like the dual timeline
like can u just read about stevie SOLVING the crime?
also david and stevie better end up tgt

yeah haven’t read in a week… so i’ll prob restart this once im done with heir of fire
if i don’t start reading the next book 😬
