went into this completely blind and nearly immediately set my kindle down to pick it up and find the synopsis because wow just the first 3 pages felt like walking into a street pole

honestly this is really sweet so far. I read a lot of dark themes and this is so light. It really feels like someone’s mom is gently telling me their life story. I like that this actively shows the daughter’s perspectives and reactions as her tale moves along.
