Kind of disappointed after reading and LOVING the Poppy war series. But I’ll finish it someday

I’ll be honest, being indigenous from a colonised country myself, I find Sciona often belittling and I kinda hate that there will be a romance at the end. She treats the guy like a monkey/less than human for a good part of the book and I don’t get how he will fall in love with her. Oh the plight of the self hating jew. Anyways I don’t think I’ll finish it but maybe someday

Boring

I’m not sure which one of us is it, but either me or whoever translated this book doesn’t speak English. Every sentence hurts to read.

Just a bitch trying to fill her time with books

I’m halfway through and I just need to say that I f*ing hate Charlie with everything in me. He is annoying me to no end.
I feel madly in love with Leah as a character, I think she is amazing and I love to watch her journey, and I can see a lot of her in me a few years back in my own horrible relationship. Sometimes you pray God takes someone from your life and then pray to have them back when they leave, yk?

I’m just so drawn to the writing and I absolutely fell in love with Leah. So far, I am really enjoying this book, but Charlie really sucks, I cannot stand him.

Is it about to break me?????
