Much better vibes than Alchemised

I’m almost 10 hours into this book and not even 30% finished. The plot feels disjointed and icky and no one is especially likable, even the fmc. Trying really hard to convince myself to keep going 🫠

I regret starting this at night 🫠 I was not expecting creepy and unsettling to be the theme here

I tried. I really did try to finish this book before the end of the year, but I just cannot make myself keep going. It’s not that it’s bad, I just don’t care for it. I also don’t like the audiobook narrator. Perhaps I’ll give the kindle version another go but it’s not likely.

This is fun so far! Love that local bookstore Murder By The Book got a shout out in the story
