devouring an audio book a week lately. it's a new-again thing for me and i'm loving it. it's my go-to and brings me a lot of happiness ^__^

Determined to narrow down my list of books TO-READ to at least less than half of the books I've READ!

Having 200 books I WANT to read is just overwhelming, also some that I marked to-read were from a whiiile ago. My tastes have changed a bit.

I was really excited to read this but I think I'll have to back track and finish the THREE books I'm supposedly "currently reading"... Candy Everybody Wants, Turning Pro, and Digital Detox

Honestly, that should help me reach my goals faster cause I'm already half way thru all of them! I'd love to exceed my reading goals for the year too ^_^

I'm listening to this on audio and boy it's a total of 35 hours to listen to! But it's captivating as hell of course ^_^

Side note: I'm skimming down on my 'to- read' list cuz it's almost ridiculous that the amount of books I want to read is equivalent to the amount of books I have read!

Also, books I added to-read a while ago aren't ALL ones that I'm still interested in after all this time!

I took a trip to New Mexico, cleared my brain a little and I finally feel like I can read again. On my to-read list ideas: A is for Attitude, turning pro, 365 Nirvana, Gandhi, culture crash, and nature photography. the theme / genres are self-love, success, philosophy, biography, new age stuff, and animals.

My favorites shelf needs a complete makeover but the problem is, if someone were to ask me what my favorite book is, I wouldn't know how to answer because the books that I *remember* to be my favorites are ones that I read in my teens. That's when I was an avid bookworm (5ish years ago). My interests have changed a bit, my preference used to be YA romance/drama with themes of important life lessons...

Realizing that my favorites shelf needs a serious makeover! It's mostly composed of YA books, I mean I totally loved those a few years back but I'm an adult now and my tastes are completely different. And I just can't get into the conflicts that teenagers tend to face in those books (figured that out when I started reading YA as an adult). So, as an adult, I see my favorites shelf having a lot of non-fiction :)
