Delightful book so far!

Great book so far. Such a funny look into the (slightly deranged) mind of the author and his quest for a wonderful garden!

At what point do I take this off the "books I'm reading" list? Looks like I began it Jun 24, 2009!! I don't think I've read more than a couple pages in the last year and a half. It just mocks me from my "actively reading" shelf in my living room!

Is savoring this book before bed each night!

I'm also watching the dvd of this book which really brings it to life!

I read a chapter a night just before bed. It gives my spirit a chance to work it all out in my dreams. I am loving this book. How have I not read it before??

Finding this very interesting so far. It has been helpful too in getting me to question my own tendencies. It is also interesting that almost all of the people they profile so far are Enneagram type 1. Hoarding becomes a coping mechanism out of control for them.

I've just started this one and am happy to find that it takes place in Amish country, Ohio where I have spent some time. I'm anxious to see how this measures up to my experience there.

Like the other Elizabeth Berg books I've read, this one is like an old friend - not flashy or demanding of my gripping attention, but comforting and thoughtful.

This was a little slow starting for me, but picked up around page 35 or so. I think that may have to do with learning the characters. This is actually the first Hemlock Falls book I've read! I know, I know. Nothing like starting with the 16th book in a series! :giggle:
