reading this at the start of a swedish summer is the closest thing I’ve experienced to reaching nirvana.

ok this is taking me forever to read read but it is sooo good.. i’m not even finished but i already want to recommend it to everyone i talk to ! such an interesting perspective on nationalism and conservatism and the desire to return to a perfect “past” in a present filled with uncertainty. feels scary relevant to what’s happening in the us post-inauguration.

had to stop reading this bc my libby loan expired🥲but i am picking this back up now
