I am so enjoying this. Some of the things that I've already noted from his book are some things that Ovid has said and others- love levels all ranks which is so true. And love is always increasing or decreasing. Men who lost after every woman they see, their love is like that of a shameless dogs. Those type of men should be compared to asses cuz it's men with that low nature who are on level with animals.

This author is a great inspiration for me and my writer's notebook. I have read two stories so far. The last little piece of darkness was amazing. And something I said was so good. I'm intrigued by the way he words things and his descriptions and insight is so sharp. I tend to jump around with books as you may have noticed so will read another story of his in-between my stack of horrendous disorder asap:)

I'm skipping around a bit instead of reading it in a linear fashion but I am enjoying it. They are stories so each section could be set apart as its own. I love it because you don't find much on the sense of touch. I find a lot on the sense of sight or even sent but touch, never. I am enjoying his work and can't wait to continue.

This is a pretty little book that is more so far flipping through or exactly as the author, titled it, as a bedside companion. I imagine that flipping through this before I go to sleep, will help me get into that comforting stage of sleep, and there’s a lot of material in here. It’s more than just pretty pictures.

I love this dedicated, caring man. I’m hoping he learns to utilize the public before too much damage goes on. I’m grateful that we have the Internet and journalist from the people with power are less likely to miss use it without being caught and yes I’m thinking hopefully but that’s all we’ve got when the powerful people choose to be more criminal than criminals and hurting kids and innocent

The author is so cute. She said,
“ I do not allow roadkill to make me cry anymore.”
I was thinking,
“Me neither I realize- now that she mentions it.”
Christie supplies us with reason’s she has cried, and the different intensities of her crying spells.

This is an interesting subject, and it’s easy to marginalized/talk back to. I also love how the book is set up. There’s something about white space that makes it so alluring to read.

Impeccable. I’ve never had so many ideas to work with and I’m only just beginning. Ironically, they have been talking about how to begin a piece and the insight and ideas she offers have kept me writing story ideas so quickly that I have to keep a pencil in my hair. Ok, I always leave a pencil in my hair but while reading this book-I pull it out to use more often than not.

I only just learned this word that refers to that moment right before we enter sleep, but I’ve always been interested in the state. I am somebody that is most productive in my reading and writing late at night. I love this book. It takes more time to read than a work of fiction. Like poetry, it requires deep, thinking, and focus if you want to get the most out of it.

I know I just began this book,i’m usually on point&can determine when a book is worth continuing by the first few pages&a skim. I look forward to reading on. Greene has a way w/putting things into a manageable perspective &providing language for situations that lack an easy summary. My son is almost thirteen,it can be hard to decipher the boundaries of what is expected of this age & what would be considered extreme.

Such an amazing writer, and such a sweetheart. My heart breaks, but I like to learn what we are being shut out from the course. There’s probably not much I can do to help but spread that word, and I will do that even with my hands tied.

It was good, but I probably wouldn’t of read it. If I had known that reading her last book was fulfilling enough. It’s interesting to find out where she ended up and I give all my blessings to her but it’s obvious she’s not a writer and probably too much material to explain some thing that could’ve been said in shorter context.

I’m happy I found this book. It has completely different material than general books on the craft of fiction writing. I’m learning alot! The only gripe I have, which is minor, I wish he did individual studies on a given work, instead of mentioning a bunch of different material and touching up on multiple pieces in a chapter but that’s my personal issue;) Other than that Turchi is intelligent, interesting, funny
