Wowsers!!!!

This is fun but also raises excellent considerations about AI ethics.

Ehhh- The story is decent but the writing is all over the place. Sometimes there’s an excellent section but then it switches to Juliette’s POV and none of the many metaphors make any sense. I’ll be reading a phrase over and over wondering if I’m too dumb to get it, only to realize the phrase is too dumb to be understood. It’s annoying and frequent enough that I always feel on the verge of DNF.

It did finally pick up and now I’m quite enjoying it.

While the overall plot of this is quite interesting, I’m struggling to really care about any of the characters. It’s a bummer that such a fun concept is executed so boringly.

This is fun and cute. There’s the one obvious sitch, then the other two recent small reveals were incredibly obvious. It just feels very small stakes, so I’m enjoying the calm, but I sense at some point something needs to actually happen.

Oooh this is an interesting premise, and well executed so far. I’m enjoying it.

Haven’t read this since maybe undergrad. Loved it then. Started to wonder if that was just be brjbg young and silly. Bit so far… just a delightful as I remember! Ughhh this writing is phenomenal.

Great start to a quick gothic story. Obviously I’m quite sucked in.

More or less your generic thriller, but I was looking for a little mindlessness between more intense ones, and this is doing its job. There are also some interesting perspectives amongst the cliche, which is fun.
