I'm reading the kindle version so I looked up how many times the word "italian" appears, and it appears 102 times in a 293 page book. Call me crazy but that seems like 95 times too many

There is absolutely no way this girl learned Italian AND French through Duolingo

I just read the phrase “core memory” and got flashbacks to the time I saw Inside Out for the first time

If I read the phrase “I lift my chin,” or “I nod,” one more time I’m throwing my kindle. Same goes for the phrase “a (blank) of (blank). Get more creative with the writing, add different sentence structures, and add more of a plot.
