Currently putting it on hold cause whatever it is I’m supposed to feel for both main characters just isn’t coming to me. I’ll circle back to them later on.

Je me rends compte que j’ai très peu de patience en ce qui concerne les livres que je lis.. Cause, je viens de commencer et j’ai déjà le goût de drop out of this book 😭😭

Je lis la version traduite en anglais but I somehow catch myself translating some of it back in Korean pis je ris toute seule… ahh les petites joies de la vie

Je relate tellement à la female lead de ce roman! On ne fait peut être pas les mêmes erreurs tout le temps, mais son histoire et son growth throughout the years makes me think of myself a lot! J’adore comment ce livre n’est pas vraiment une histoire d’amour… c’est so much more than that!

J’ai l’impression que je lis depuis des années mais que j’avance pas. It’s still enjoyable. Luke pisses me off once in a while… Flora as well tbh. But I’m still eating it up 😩

J’ai même pas fini et je sais déjà que je vais donner 5 étoile à ce livre… I audibly gasped reading the ending of chapter 64.

Wow.. wouldn’t have expected that in a Chinese novel tbh

The beginning of chapter 85 is giving that specific chapter in the novel “ we were liars”.

And though this time I actually expected it, I still audibly gasped. The signs were there though. It’s so bad that this is what actually makes me appreciate the book… so close to the end

If codependency had a picture in the dictionary, it would be of Autumn’s face.

J’ai un peu de misère à get through the dialogue not going to lie. The sheriffs seem a bit too stereotypical à mon goût. But pushing through!

The people at the shelter… couldn’t they notice the police or something? After they saw what was on the news? I’m sooo confused

Audio listening to this while driving and honestly I’m hooked! But I so wish it wouldn’t have taken the obvious path…

Je me suis pas sentie super à l’aise avec le fait qu’il catégorise un des élèves par « le grand nègre » il y avait sincèrement pas d’autres manières de le qualifier? Je me suis rendu compte que les personnages de couleur de peau noires sont toujours décrits avec une certaine petite touche de racisme and I’m not okay with that

I’m bored out of my mind but still sticking with it. Thought it was going to be as easy and entertaining as the first one, but so far le perso principal de ce tome est lowkey copy paste from le perso principal du tome précédent. C’est un peu redondant 😕 pis je clique pas encore avec le main lead… oh well there’s still time to change my mind!

Hooked so far, finally out of my mild reading slump, but there’s so few pages left and so many things yet to discover I’m scared the ending will be rushed 😫 But I do have hope, Ali Hazelwood don’t fail me please!

Dropping every other book I’m reading cause my coworker asked me to read this at the same time as her so we can discuss it. First this is about teenagers why is the cover looking like it’s about adults? Second I’m bored out of my mind but I’ve heard it gets good towards the middle so I’ll keep on going… Kaja!
