I’ve heard the first 100 pages of this book is super hard to get through because of all the world building. So far I’m really enjoying it. I like world building and it’s still grasping my interest. There’s also something about Sarah’s writing that is so comforting to me for some reason.

I’m not sure how I feel about this yet. It’s keeping my interest I suppose but the writing voice keeps changing. We’ll see how it goes.

By pg 150, I had a sudden thought: if Sebastian was a faerie PRINCE, why the hell didn’t he have the money to help Brie and her sister? He had said multiple times he wanted to help her financially and would after his apprenticeship. Even if he had gone to Elora without much mortal money, surely he would have been able to sell Fae goods for a decent price? He would have easily been able to help them financially.
