Really good! finally coming back to books that aren’t just stupid and hot.

I’ve finally started it like a week or two ago and I’m struggling sm:(( the humour is not hitting and I don’t like the changed word/ plot at all, I absolutely loved the original fanfiction and I hoped that this hook would be just as lighthearted and laugh inducing, but it’s just not giving I fear. I’ll try to finish it, it deserves an honest review, maybe it’s just hard with all the over the top language

holy fuck, it’s so good. I’m dosing myself with it, because I just wanna sit, stare ahead, think and analyze every little thing I’ve just read. It’s so daunting knowing that things won’t turn out for the very best, but also exhilarating to see how and why it happened.

I’ve been reading for 2 days and I love it! I’ve read Manacled twice and I was curious how she’ll rewrite this story. Everything works well so far! I wished I could read Manacled for the first time again and it’s as close as it gets really. I could read a thousand versions of this book, I don’t want it to end too quickly, but I won’t interrupt myself too much, because it’s such a great experience

guys wtf? why do people recommend this book? it’s so bad lol People don’t talk like that and things don’t happend like they do in this book. Everything is so wrong, it feels like it was written by a teenager that got an idea for an interesting plot but didn’t really know how to write it. I don’t wanna DNF another book, I was interested in the affair side of it, but it’s all to immature for my tastes

well, that’s sad, but I really don’t like this book. Another one that I don’t see myself finishing. I understand that it’s about grief and she’s trying to live in a world that doesn’t have her bff in it anymore, but she’s so unfunny, ridiculous and just exhausting to read about. She moves so fucking weird. The dialogues are trash. I’m so surprised by that rating, I expected sm more from it…

idk why it’s hitting me this hard but I actually have to pause so many times bc I feel as if I’m experiencing this betrayal. it’s so real and awful, I can’t help but feel so fucking bad and sick to my stomach imagining being in the position that the fmc is in, and again it’s not some crazyyy stuff, but it hits you deep

it’s exhausting how much they talk and explain everything, that’s not enjoyable at all, the rating just dropped sm I’m scared to finish it, bc I feel bad about giving it a dog shit review

ugh it’s written in a way that I feel like I’m walking jn circles. They’re constantly talking things over and then changing their mind in the middle of these conversations. So much dialogue that is really not needed. It’s not engaging at all, Idk how/if I’ll get through this

i’m in such a reading slump, everything turns boring pretty fast and this book is currently at like 3 stars

it had a realllllly funny scene, but overall the humour is trying too hard I fear, let’s see how it goes, would probably great for a film adaptation

it’s really bad:(( she’s insufferable and he’s just there; so so so ill suited. I don’t know if I’m gonna bother with finishing this one. There were quite a few very weird things said already. They have no chemistry and are extremely mean to each other

I’m sorry but I’m hot for her romance with Kyle, like omg it was a secret relationship with age gap and also very complicated, that’s my stufff ugh but I know it will all be explained in a way that I’ll rest peacefully and I’ll be able to root for Ben and her only

I’m so disappointed with this book at this point. I don’t even know if I wanna continue. I don’t like the characters and the most interesting storyline was at the beginning with the accident, and that wasn’t even that great of an opening. They’re being bland together and they’ll probably just end being bland and together. I’m actually so mad, there’s not tension and no chemistry!!!

great concept but I find myself thinking how much better this book could have been. Also I hate the weight insecurity that’s being incorporated, it’s so constant. She’s a teenager and it clearly shows with how she behaves and what she thinks/says. Maybe that’s on me, I just prefer stronger leads that r nteresting in some way. And the descriptions r v THERE, so for me- as a complete opposite- it’s annoying

back to the plot and once again I see how ridiculous and childish everyone in this is acting so yeah, apart from some good smut this book is pretty repetitive and boring tbh. It shouldn’t be this long, I still hate Avery, they truly are teenagers and if a guy in his thirties fell in love with one, that only shows him in a bad light, he can’t be a good man, but it’s fiction! so imma continue cheers
