This starts off a sweet small town friends to lovers...and then BAM! Not quite so sweet. OMG!

It takes a LOT in a book to make me cry. The scene where the third victim is identified had tears streaming down my face. I have always liked Butch, but that scene made me absolutely love him.

Chapter one hooked me, chapter two had me laughing and now on chapter 6 I can’t put it down!

Damn! I forgot how much I loved this world. It feels like coming back home reading this one. <3 Joanna Wylde!

I love the author's style. Fun and light with dashes of heavy. Just enough to keep the story real and interesting and liberal amounts of sass ;)

I just can't. I feel anxious, creeped out and frustrated by this book. I understand that a good book demands an emotional reaction, but this crosses over into unpleasant and uncomfortable. I feel trapped and overwhelmed by the world created. I have to walk away.

I know I'm supposed to be all about Leo at this point in the story...but I'm kinda in love with Chad! Hilarious!!

In Bourbon Kings, you are really focused on Lizzie and her happiness. Lane is someone you tolerate in the beginning and grow to love. By the end, you realize he is a good guy. In The Angels' Share, he rocks! He is absolutely hysterical. The crisis of his family and company is not funny at all, but the way he reacts to his situation is just awesome reading. I would LOVE to see this turned into a movie.

OMG! I am in love. The words that are used to describe the depth of emotion are just beautiful. You truly feel every word in your soul.

This book is making me very anxious. The flipping back and forth this is great, but very unsettling. Love AT!

I am LOVING this book! Totally a case of prejudging a book before reading it. "I named him Brody. You're welcome." made me laugh out loud!
