NO 😭😭

I’m mad that sleep is a necessity which means that I have to stop reading. So much has already happened and I’m only halfway through the book.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the info pages at the beginning describing the hierarchy between colors + their roles and the dramatis personae 👏🏻

Did I start reading a 4th book? Yes…. But ‘heated rivalry’ got me out of a reading slump and I’m hoping this book will do the same bc it’s a BAD slump

This one is also going back on the shelf for now. It’s just sitting there staring at me from the ‘currently reading’ pile and I know I’m not continuing it soon so she’s going back for now. I will read this when I’m in the mood for this kind of fantasy but now is not her time.

I’m going into this book completely blind. I saw a post on social media saying to read this book blind, and as it turns out, I don’t have a mind of my own 😃 so I’m listening to this random person online. I have no knowledge of genre, themes or whatever, all I know is the title. Let us be surprised!!

Putting this one back on the shelf. I need a certain level of concentration and comprehension that I haven’t had lately, so I’ll pick it up again later

I have no other option but to read Heated Rivalry. Accidentally ended up on Heated Rivalry TikTok and it’s showing me so many videos that mention how something was written in the books that I feel left out

This one will HURT me I can already feel it

Will I be able to finish this book in 2025 (spoiler: absolutely not. But I will try)

Forced myself out of my reading slump and I’m really loving this shit

Really interesting but also difficult to get through at times. Love reading the research, timelines and comparisons to modern stories but sometimes it feels like some points are too much. And there are so many names and Greek figures my head hurts lol.
