the writing is great but this book might kill me. I already know understand much about science but mixing it with philosophy is breaking my brain

I've been blessed to read one of my favorite Austen novels of allll time yet again for class!!

volume two was just pure rarebait. all the men are HORRIBLE (except Orville and the Scottish man). EVELINA GET BEHIND ME.

the rollercoaster of moods ive had while reading this is hilarious. must say that all the men in the novel (besides one or two) are heinous creatures. I find myself grimacing everytime Clermont's name appears. BUT miss evelina, we love to see an awkward girl find her way into society!

I love autistic representation

I love the banner between Edward and Bella so much. It angers me to this DAYYYY that they didn't put that in the movie.

sherlock is so dramatic, I luv him

"mania" and its just a girl with mommy issues, hating being poor, and a hint of postpartum depression.

funny that this is called lady audley's secret but we are hearing from a man more than we are hearing from her (which im sure is a big part of the story)
