This book is a strong fever dream but also somehow boring? Why is the main character such an asshole? Close to abandoning this.

Not sure what’s all the hype’s about regarding this book. About 40-page-ish in and it’s…OK but nothing more and also a little little boring, slow-paced and predictable. Interesting setting with the greek god-world but so far nothing has happened except that Circe is probably falling in love with that fisher and is going to get herself expelled. I will yeet the book into a corner if 1:1 this happens…

Well-written and entertaining but oh god I do not like where the plot is going. Not sure I’ll continue.

Finally the walls come closing in! Excited to see how Nar is going to salvage this.
