This is SO millennial cringe. The writing is trite, lame banter doesn’t mean the main character actually has any chemistry with her love interests, god spare me the millennial nonsense of acting as though being so qwirky (read here unfocused and sloppy) and obsessing over one breakfast item is an actual legitimate personality.

To me The Husband Stitch served the same purpose, essentially, as Comfort me with apples, but somehow less. The writing is commendable, but the story itself feels a bit empty, expected? It doesn’t connect with me viscerally like Comfort me with apples did.
