An entire book being sexist forgiven, Cecil.

Woahhh.. only a few pages in and we have the interviewer fascinated by “size eighteen” sopranos.

Honestly didn’t realise it was such a topic of discussion in the opera world.

But loving Kaufman’s awareness of himself and the opera world - also an easy read, so good for getting out of a Literature/English induced reading slump.

There’s just so much going on - everyone keeps diaries, there’s been some impaling, garlic necklaces, flies have souls?? So much fun!!

Meandering..but in a really nice way - love love love just learning lots of pointless=important information about Russian family members and scandals and everything
