I just read a whole chapter about a trading firm but I still honestly couldn’t explain trading for the life of me

As someone who also lived in different countries growing up, I appreciate how Obama got asked why he chose Chicago winters over sunning on Waikiki beach. He has such a poetic, insightful way of describing experiences, places and people. Loving so far.

Listening to Obama say the n-word and talk about “trying blow” is jarring but I guess everyone was a teen at some point

Obama talking about Indonesia in such depth is crazy, I feel like I’m back

Barack Obama is yelling in a Kenyan accent in my ears and life is good

Re-reading my favourite book of all time

Definitely listen to the audiobook because he plays audio recordings of subject matter, adds his own side commentary and sometimes sings
