Shelving this for now. Just tough to get into.

I gave up. The horribly juvenile political messages simply overwhelmed the rest of the writing. Trust me, dear author, we understand you believe half the country are gun toting, racist, Neanderthal criminals but that doesn’t mean we don’t recognize really mediocre writing.

This book should come with a warning/informational banner concerning the depth of liberal bias of the author. It is comically juvenile in it's approach to so many topics. One side good. One side bad. Because the author says so which I guess is his right as is the option of putting out a book that requires over 31 hours in audio format.

Now, in terms of the book, what can I say??? So dang good. This is likely tossed into a genre that has been done a bunch (end of world, then what) but Mr. Gayou’s take on it is truly unique and completely enjoyable regardless of your opinion on the genre. This is just a damn good book and series.

Sure I would really love to know where this goes and could just read the book far earlier but there is zero chance. The man is an absolute artist and the match to the outstanding work by Joshua Gayou is even better than the match on The Martian.

First, R.C. Bray and the Commune series are the greatest combination since PB&J. I’m so close to done in book 3 and know that I have no choice but to wait for the audiobook of book 4.

Confirmed as a great series.

Kinda gave up on this one for awhile. May go back to it. Just not the right kind of story to keep me interested.

It's good. I'm looking forward to a well thought out ending.

Had to return it to the library before I got a chance to read enough of it. Seemed good. Should give it another try.
