are we ever going to find out what happened at the stag party? if there are going to be more of these unfinished side tales (what happened to alice? what happened to aoife’s family? who’s the kid that died? did will cheat on his exams?) and no conclusions, i’m going to deduct a star

guess: she’s the anchor as the forge maiden. she must die to end the curse. ruvan wakes up because of her death. he revives her as a vampir (since only the lords/ladies know the blood lore ritual to turn someone)

this girl is the dumbest person on the planet. the person he killed was obviously his abusive stepdad!! which she had hoped had happened earlier in the book when he was telling her about his childhood. she needs to be better or i’m dnfing

i’m thinking “assassinate” was the wrong word choice?? dude is an abuser who tried to kill her so maybe use “murderer”?? either that or this book is about to take a hell of a turn
