I’m reading the NASB version along with the Life Principles Daily Bible, also NASB. Although the LP Daily Bible spotlights verses with “Life Lessons,” and other articles, it’s helpful to have the study notes from the Ryrie to illuminate certain passages. Reading these side by side has been a great study of the Bible as a whole.

One of the participants in our church group that meets once per week distributed this book to everyone in the group. That week our study included a passage from Matthew 5. Drummond’s clarification of love vs. charity was a help in understanding this passage of scripture. I’m finding his observations to be enlightening.
