Can’t update on time to save my life

So unapologetically outrageous, I can’t help but give it credit.

It’s bad, yall.

I can’t even bring myself to review this shitstorm.

Poorly written characters, wonderfully engineered traps and locations, gratuitous and pointless pornography combined with a decent thread of plot here and there all got thrown in a jar and shaken around.

This is barely a book. This is a monument of wasted potential and a thick spreading of shock which does nothing except obscure the bits of decipherable plot.

Getting decent. Not good, mind you, but decent.

More edgelord bullcrap with threads of a promising story. Another example of a man who thinks he’s revolutionary and cool completely misinterpreting the splatterpunk genre.

I cannot yet bring myself to write a proper review for this, but wow. There are tears in my eyes and a divot in my heart. Though it took me only a few days to read, I could feel the decades pass alongside the protagonist. A spirit she could not sense in any way. Though she is fiction, her account is remembered and she will live as long as I do, if not longer.

This book is a masterpiece. I will not read it again.

A sense of mildness to match their surroundings. Monotony woven with flickers of the past and future, all bordered by the melancholy and frustration of the unknown and the inevitability of death.

More hauntingly, that death comes for us in many ways, one by one, leaving us with the aftermath until it returns to claim us too.

Bleak, but forces one to continue reading and searching for the answer to a riddle that they were never and likely never will be told.
