I wanna strangle the narrator. Like I don’t care, just stop going on about the obvious. It’s like those old people who think they’ve tons to say but just keep on going on about the mundane. I’m very tempted to DNF

I've been waiting for something interesting but so far it's just rumination and philosophical stuff.

Crouch is using a very similar method of writing for all of his books which unfortunately did not work for this one at all. it' ended up being very monotonous and bland.

Clear inspiration from: Limitless, lucy etc but like I mentioned in my notes it's not translated well due to the lack of visual cues.

The protagonist got superpowers (for the lack of better words) and is literally just caught without showcasing any of the said superpowers in a good way.

Bang on from the start it is clear that it is a book inspired/similar to limitless and I have no issues because I love that movie. My concern is how is it gonna look without the visual cues movie offered.

I don’t have time to talk right now as I’m in some major trouble, but let me talk to you for 40 minutes to explain all the major plot points.
