gotta read another colson whitehead!

hopefully going to finish today, but i’m really digging this book!! it’s so sweet

figured i should read one of the books offered to my students for their next unit

i feel silly bc i didn’t realize it’s a collection of stories when i started reading

i can’t quite fathom why i still read her books when i just don’t really like them (this one is way better than dream girl drama i’ll tell you that)

tbh just powering through for my reading goal and in hopes that i start to like it more

accidentally picked up the large print version whoops

everytime i read a chapter i want to put on roman holiday

roman holiday is my most favorite movie ever so i’m deeply excited for this book. already in the first chapter there was a great adaptation of the beginning of the film so i have high hopes!!!

re-reading “the nose” hi gogol!!
