4.5⭐️ such a good little romance, palette cleanser. I loved how it was different from something I would usually read and I thought it was really cute and I did laugh out loud and I just really enjoyed it.

This book pissed me off so bad.

Reading Coriolanus’s thoughts on district 12 woods is sooo idek how to say it. He’s talking about what sort of creature could inhabit it and then he says, “ what a racket the birds here made!” And as we know, Katniss is the Mockingjay and the face of the rebellion. He found out what kind of racket the birds in district 12 make, bitch.

I’m starting part 3 now. Hoping I can get a lot of reading done tonight and tomorrow so I can finish this.

I think I’m finally getting into the book. I think I just loved the original trilogy so much I don’t care about snow. And I have to read it before sunrise on the reaping so I think that is making me not what to read it because I have to.

He just pisses me off so bad that I don’t feel like reading this book.

I’m struggling so hard to read this book

The repetition and word choice is killing me.

These books are fun to read, but not for the writing😭. Every sentence is trying be profound when they shouldn’t be. And the word choice makes me laugh/cringe sometimes. I can’t stop reading them though. They just suck me in

She’s hot

Bria is so thorough with how she does stuff. Usually in dark romance books with serial killers, you don’t know how they don’t get questioned by the police. But for Brea, it makes sense on why she doesn’t just because she was taught so well.

I love all of brynne weavers characters and how fun her newer books are, but I love her older ones. The characters are written a little darker and more clinical. They have liars and cold rooms. There is a lot of mechanical parts for the rooms and their houses.

3.5⭐️ what the fuck did I just read!?! The beginning and towards the middle were really good but the end I started not being able to support her wrongs. It also just got a bit confusing because she’s confused and I feel like I’m left with so many questions.

I take it back fuck her.

I am starting to see why people read this book and say “what the fuck did I just read?” it seems like she is a bit of an unreliable narrator, and some things are a little blurred. More disturbing things are coming to light about Irina. But I don’t wanna put the book down.

So far it is disturbing but not in the way I was thinking. And it isn’t too bad when I saw that it was a dark comedy, lit fic I wasn’t actually expecting to laugh, but I am. Everyone says Irina is the most unlikable protagonist. Am I not understanding the book enough because I lowkey love her. Except for how she treats her friend, but I love how she treats men.
