Current Chapter: Chapter Fifteen - “The Forbidden Forest”

God, there are so many twists and turns, and I love how, despite being so smart and precocious, they (Ron, Harry, and Hermione) are still kids and mess up a lot, which is how they got into their current debacle with McGonagall.

Current Chapter: Chapter Thirteen - “Nicholas Flamel”

I live for this ongoing mystery and the growing difficulties that Harry is facing, especially the continued (and understandable) fixation on his lack of familial support. Anyone would be vulnerable to the wish of belonging to something like a family.

Current Chapter: Chapter Two

I love the growing notions of conflict and social dynamics between George/Lennie, and the rest of the ranch. There is an undercurrent of acceptable cruelty born of the time period that makes me nervous for the clearly establishing conflict that is cropping up now.

Current Chapter: Chapter Eleven - “Quidditch”

I love the action and quite humorous commentary from Jordan, it’s all rather engaging; also, why does Snape hate Harry so much lol
