Really interesting! Been trying to read more critical theory and this is an intriguing read. Despite the eye catching title, it is more about women’s roles in society under capitalism and socialism, and ways in which women’s oppression under certain forms of government ends up affecting society as a whole.

Take a shot every time the author uses the word “gaped”. I swear it’s happened so many times at this point it just takes me out of the story. This girl is apparently always gaping 🥴
